I can't say I even notice them. I imagine Daniel is the same. That is the gift you gave all of us, and from there, every person any of us ever come into contact with who is in a wheelchair. For me now as a teacher, most importantly, it is a student I have this year. Talk about coming full circle. Tell Daniel Congrats for me. A day doesn't go by that I don't thank God for all the blessings he has shown my family in these hard times. All year long we do special things at the ministry I work for to help people in need. Last month we replenished a food bank that was going to have to close because of a lack of donations. And all of it was donated by all the employees' of our ministry. For November we are all filling bags with all the workings of a Thanksgiving dinner for families that are in the same situation as those at Thomas House. After all, we are not really blessed if we are not helping those less fortunate. That is the real blessing. So, Kudo's for all you do with your Ministry, Renee. I've always thought you were a special blessing to the community even before your injury, and have felt blessed to call you friend. It so good to hear about a place like Thomas House. His Shoulders are much bigger than ours. I saw that your Dad passed away in 2008 and I offer my condolences (albeit quite a bit late!). My Daddy (yes, I am 52, but he will always be my Daddy!) passed away in January. I miss him so much. I am Blessed to still have my Mom and my wonderful husband, but sometimes the stress of responsibility seems overwhelming, but as soon as I ask Jesus and Mary for strength I feel much better. We are parishoners of the Mission Basilica and thank you for all the beautiful music you have performed there and wherever you are. I have also met your sister Susan. She (like you) has a beautiful smile! Thank you both for the beauty your bring to Church. Our dad's are both at Asscension and I will try to visit his grave this Sunday.
